Hosted by comedienne Jenny Eclair and attended by over 400 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and VIPs, the Awards was held at Twickenham Stadium on Friday 16th February.
West London’s Film And TV Industry Is Globally Sought-After And Actively Growing The UK Economy
A new report looking into the economic viability of the film and TV industry reveals that West London is now firmly established as a global film and TV destination that is both building the West London local economy, and also demonstrating how other areas in the UK can learn from it to generate financial growth and local jobs.
30 March 2023 – Businesses based in the London borough of Ealing were out in full force this week at the launch of the London West Innovation Network, as they celebrated qualifying for competitive business grants that will help them achieve high growth and increased employment locally.

Hosted by impressionist and comedian Rory Bremner and attended by over 400 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and VIPs, the Awards was held at Twickenham Stadium on Friday 24 February.
Businesses across West London are being urged to have their say, and share their challenges and insights into employing more staff locally at sector-specific early January online roundtables. Aimed at digital, hospitality, retail, transport & logistics and manufacturing businesses in the area, these virtual events will shape the in-person West London Skills Summit on Wednesday 25 January, and directly inform how skills shortages are tackled across the area.
Entries are now open for the tenth West London Business Awards, which showcase business excellence, and are established as the pre-eminent award scheme in the north-west of the capital. The tenth edition of the awards will shine a spotlight on enterprises that are beacons in the following areas; SME Sector leadership, Sustainable & responsible business’, ‘Economic resilience’, ‘Corporate leadership’, ‘Individual leadership’ and ‘Next Generation entrepreneurship’.

As destinations go, I am fortunate to have worked, lived in and visited some wonderful countries and cities around the world… The Maldives, India, New York, Kyoto, Cardiff, to name a few.
