London, 6 October 2023 – Specialist travel and lifestyle consultancy GEC PR has been appointed as the representatives for Central America Tourism Promotions Agency (CATA) to handle UK PR, marketing and trade activity for the region.The member countries CATA represents are Belize, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. GEC PR’s remit will include managing all media relations, press trips and UK events, as well as further developing relationships with the UK travel trade. Initial activity will focus on managing CATA’s presence at World Travel Market in November.
