The Maldives Announces 94% Of Resorts To Reopen By October 2020

Following the reopening of Maldivian borders to international visitors on 15th July 2020, Maldives Marketing and PR Corporation (MMPRC) has announced that 146 of its 156 resorts in operation will reopen to guests by the end of October 2020 following health and safety measures set out by the Ministry of Tourism.

To commence the reopening of borders for all nationalities in the Maldives, and to launch the “Rediscover Maldives…the sunny side of life” campaign, Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) hosted a virtual press conference on 15 July 2020. Gregg Caren Appointed President And CEO Of Philadelphia Convention And Visitors Bureau

The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) has announced that the Board of Directors unanimously voted and has appointed Gregg Caren to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Caren most recently served as the Executive Vice President, Sales and Strategic Business Development for ASM Global (formerly SMG), operator of over 350 venues worldwide, headquartered in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. He also served in various senior leadership positions while with the company for over 20 years. Caren has more than three decades of industry experience and will join the PHLCVB on 8th June 2020.
