One limited edition pair of SWAROVSKI OPTIK’s EL 8.5×42 binoculars created in collaboration with Byredo are now available to purchase in London.

With a magnification of 8.5x, SWAROVSKI OPTIK’s EL binoculars are the number one choice for birders worldwide thanks to their precision, easy handling, and reliability. The model’s unique wrap-around grip allows the binoculars to fit comfortably in a wildlife watcher’s hands and the 8x magnification offers a 133-metre field-of-view. The binoculars offer users crystal-clear, colour-true images, with razor-sharp contours. For those who wish to use the stylish binoculars while travelling, the lime green EL 8.5×42 binoculars created in collaboration with Byredo will be sold with a matching handmade leather field bag and carrying strap.

The limited collector’s edition EL binoculars are part of Byredo’s autumn winter 2019-20 collection, which is inspired by the tropical colours of rare bird species and was presented during an immersive installation at the 2019 Paris Fashion Week. Entitled ‘Rare Byrds of a Feather’, this three-part exhibition celebrated Byredo’s innate exoticism by uniting elements of Indian and Swedish birdwatching traditions.

Byredo is a European luxury brand founded in Stockholm in 2006 by Ben Gorham, with an ambition to translate memories and emotions into products and experiences. Byredo creates and develops a range of high-quality products such as fragrance, home, leather goods and accessories.

The limited edition Byredo EL 8.5×42 binoculars are priced at £4,000 and will be available to buy at Byredo’s flagship London store on Lexington Street.
