A new podcast giving voice to families, carers and care professionals navigating ageing and dementia is launching this week, exploring the personal stories, challenges and life-changing impact of care through the experiences of families, carers and care professionals.
Launching on 1st October to coincide with International Day of Older Persons, and during Positive Ageing Week and World Alzheimer’s Month, the Who Cares? Conversations about Care podcast series aims to spark more open conversations about ageing, dementia, independence and the role that compassionate care can play in helping people live well in their home.
Through a collection of honest and deeply personal interviews, Who Cares? examines the realities faced by families as loved ones age, alongside insights from those who have dedicated their lives and careers to supporting others.
With more people caring for ageing parents, partners and relatives than ever before, the podcast seeks to normalise conversations about later-life care and encourage families to plan ahead before difficult decisions become urgent.

Nick shares the emotional and practical realities of supporting his father through a 13-year journey with dementia.
